If you 'mustache', Ethan turned 9!

It was all smiles and hairy lips at our house tonight as we celebrated the little bald guy's 9th birthday.
Thank you to everyone who came and the wonderful, fun gifts!
From the Sparkle Paige, Auntie Carissa and Uncle Roberto Ethan will be the best dressed dude at pool therapy in his new trunks and rockin Toy Story beach towel.
From Aunt Kate, Joe, Marissa and Abby he will be entertained for hours with his silly singing chicken!
From Grandma Sharon and Grandpa John he will look so cool in his new Nike kicks!
He won't go hungry thanks to Auntie Beth's gift of two cases of formula and some shopping cash!
He will be showing his school spirit for his big sissy and Bo-Bo with his new Staley Falcons t-shirt!
He will be able to buy a new Taylor Swift concert t-shirt with the cash he got from Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Teresa!
And he will be able to join us all in his new recliner while chillaxin' and watching some Walking Dead! (I only bought him one summer outfit, and should be acknowledged for showing such great restraint-I figured the 47 he already has will get him through the summer. That and Brian threatened me!)

We are blessed and thankful for every birthday we get to celebrate with our special guy, as there was once a time we thought we'd never see nine years old. Ethan is an amazing little guy who has brought such happiness and joy to our lives. We have all learned so much about life and unconditional love from him. He amazes us daily at what he has accomplished against many odds and with many obstacles thrown his way. And with a resilience like no other!
He makes me a better person, and shows me patience and strength I never knew I had. One toothy smile from him with his wrinkled scrunched up little nose makes my world right. To hear his laughter is my sunshine, and to hold him in my arms and have him look into my eyes makes all my worries go away.

We are the lucky ones to have been given our sweet, special boy. Though not without struggles, nothing would we change about our lives with him.

We love you our stinky, bald guy, Ethanator and hope to have many more Happy Birthdays with you!

And yes, this week my hair dryer caught on fire-yep actual flames, albeit small ones, our living room TV shot craps, and I've been sick as heck. Oh, and Ethan's JG has had to be switched out 3 times in the last three weeks due to clogs in the J part, AND we are heading down to The Mercy tomorrow morning for another one! Thank goodness those IR folks like us ;)
now we just gotta figure out what's clogging it!

Busy month.

80 degrees and wearing flip-flops last week, hats and gloves tomorrow.
Only in the Midwest.

So last week I get this series of texts from Hailey.
Hailey: mom my stomach hurts. I threw up this morning.
Me: then why did you go to school?
Hailey: I had a test. It hurts around my belly button.
Me: ok. Call me or dad later if it gets worse. Gotta go, at E's appt.

2 hours later.....
Hailey: it really hurts mom.
Me: where? What side?
Hailey: if you are facing me on the right.
That's our smart girls answer.
Me: so you mean your left?
Hailey: I guess so.
Me: can you jump up and down on one foot?
Delay in response here as she tries this at school
Hailey: yes.
Me: you're fine. If its still bad tomorrow we will call dr.

No answer for 30 min or so then this
Hailey: mom. I know what it is. I looked it up. It's peritonitis!

Web MD is a dangerous Internet tool.
Me: you DO NOT HAVE PERITONITIS.
Hailey: then it's my appendix.
Me: no it's not.
Hailey: a hernia?
Me: it's none of the above. I'm going to sleep now. have dad take you to dr tomorrow.

A dr appt, an X-ray, 1 IV stick-which Hailey almost fainted from BTW, oral contrast, a CT of her belly, and a $200 imaging co-pay later, the diagnosis? Constipation. Argh! It was actually quite comical. Aside from the $200.

Ethan had two appointments in the last two weeks-endocrine and ophthalmology.
At Endo Dr Cernich is concerned with E's growth on growth hormone. He has grown about 4 inches in the last two years, but only gained a pound in 3 years. He knows we have him on the GH primarily for the cognitive benefit from the Ch 18 research study, and doesn't want to take him off. But he is concerned that our insurance may not want to keep paying if we don't show some significant growth after this many years. So he had some lab work drawn, an IGF to see if there is a chemical response to the GH, and if so, we should be ok dealing with the insurance.

At the eye appt, Dr Hug was very impressed with his tracking of the light up toy. However, she did determine the drift of his eyes is pretty significant, as well as his nearsightedness. Thus, glasses are in his very near future. The drift could be corrected with surgery, but not something we are willing to put him under anesthesia for just so he stops turning his head to the side to see things clearly. Maybe if he were walking, and having his head turned all the time was dangerous to him running into things we would consider it, but not right now. His maculopathy is still the same, no worse, which is great news.

My pre-op appt was fabulous. Dr Buescher explained my surgery and how she's going to send me home on lots of good pain meds and pain catheters in the surgical site called On-Q catheters-see pic below. Maybe even two on each side depending on how tough it is to get the expander under my pectoral muscle. The On-Q Caths stay in for 5 days then she pulls them in the office.
Craziness? I could go home the same day as my surgery. Yep, you read that right. Same day discharge. IF my pain is well controlled 2-3 hours post-op. Is it weird to ask to stay overnight even if my pain is well controlled?

Parker started track practice and comes home pretty beat every day! They even did some Pilates and yoga exercises last week, and boy was he sore that day. Not sure yet what event he is going to do, he seems to like the hurdles. I don't do hurdles, never could. Legs not long enough, not coordinated enough and the thought of crashing to the ground does not appeal to me. Thank goodness he's more coordinated than I am. We took him shopping for the clothes for his dance this weekend, and he looked so good in the outfit we got him! I can't wait to take pics Friday-will post as soon as I have them. He still hasn't decided where they are going to eat yet. Brian and I told him it would be a good idea to find out what kind of food she likes, that would help.

Hailey's club volleyball team took 1st place Saturday at the Parkville Pow-Wow! We are so proud of all the girls! They played so well together-and of 16 sets only lost one! This was their first medal all season-nothing like it being for first place of a Gold Tournament! Hailey had some very good hits and blocks. We still need to work on her confidence and getting her to swing hard every time. The 18's coach said she would be happy to work with her. We are also going to get her out to some camps this summer. She's come a long way with some hard work. We just have to keep her training after club season is over.

Last week was a very sad one, as one of Ethan's former classmates and the daughter of a fellow Police family passed away in her sleep last weekend. Brian and I were out of town when we got the news, and I wanted to get home as soon as possible and hug our little bald guy. We live with the fear every day that we will walk into his bedroom to get him up for school and he will no longer be with us, so Devin's death hits really close to home. My heart breaks for her parents Chris and Sarah. I can't imagine how we would cope as a family, and my prayers are for their comfort and peace in the dark days ahead without their daughter. With a special needs kid our lives become so entangled as caregivers, our identities as Mom and Dad and even siblings are lost in taking care of our kids who cannot care for themselves. It becomes second nature, habit, as commonplace to program a feeding pump, take apart a wheelchair, put on orthotics and oxygen and hearing aides as it is to breathe for us. We would be as lost as if we lost a limb. Please keep the Millsap family in your thoughts and prayers as well.

And just in case I didn't have enough shit going on in my life, I slipped on a wet floor last Friday morning before I got off work and tweaked my right knee. Yep, my bad knee. Since I woke up that afternoon and my knee was swollen and popping and hurt to put weight on, off to the ER I went. X-rays looked ok, just a little bit of soft tissue swelling. Orders to go home, rest, ice and elevate. After doing that it does feel a little better. But off to employee health tomorrow morning I go and see what they want to do. Brian said he was going to just take me out to pasture and shoot me. Put me out of his misery. Ha! No really, if I go MIA this week, send the cops after him.

Ethan has an appointment with Dr Erica, his dentist, tomorrow, and I'm kind of afraid she will need to pull some stubborn teeth that aren't wanting to fall out on their own. I'm a big baby and don't want to watch, so I'm making Brian go with me. He's not too thrilled either. Then a feeding eval at Mercy Tuesday morning.
So, again, a busy week equating to a busy, busy month.

March. In like a lion....

In true Midwest March fashion, it's the 3rd of March and we have feet of snow on the ground! I love it! The cold, I could do without.
The end of February was busy for all of us, and March may just outdo it!
We have been getting everything together for the state for Ethan's Lopez Waiver to start, and with that means all of his annual Dr appointments:
Cardiology- Check (see last post for deets)
Hearing and Speech- yep, Ethan still has a significant hearing loss and needs new hearing aids. Got his molds done, just waiting for his MO Health Net to kick in so we can schedule his ABR -Auditory Brain Response -specialized hearing test-to be done and get his aids ordered.
Endocrinology-this week for Growth Hormone check up
Ophthalmology- this week for annual check
Pediatrician- last Thursday for orders for PT/OT eval at Mercy to see if The bald kid needs an OPM-otopharyngeal motility study-or swallow study-to see if he aspirates. If not, we are hoping to get him back in the pool for Aqua Therapy! And either way, an OT eval to see about some intensive feeding therapy.
On a side note, while at the peds, when Dr Russell came in to see E, we had him sitting up on the table and he remained sitting, unassisted, the whole time she examined him and chatted with us! He was so showing off for her, and she loved it!! So she whipped out her phone and pulled up the Taylor Swift/goat video on YouTube and showed it to him! He cracked up, and so did I! Even though it kind of makes fun of his girl-he still thought it was pretty hysterical. If you haven't seen it, do it, it's quite hilarious!
Then on to Pulm and Ortho in April.

Hailey is playing in VB tourneys about every other weekend. Just came home from a big one in Nebraska-not with any medals though. Then Topeka this weekend, the Parkville PowWow on the 16th, and to Springfield, MO the 23rd. Brian is taking her to the Springfield one and I'm staying home with the boys and dogs because it's just too pricey to board the dogs for the weekend, and Harley hates it anyway. And Parker and E will be bored to tears. Hailey is going to Prom with Jonny in Wichita on April 13th, and we got her dress this weekend. I would post pics, but Jonny hasn't seen the dress yet and she doesn't want him to!

Parker has started Track and Field practice with his first meet on the 28th. Not sure yet what event he will be competing in. As practices proceed, the coaches will find his strengths and decide. He came home pretty sore Friday after all the running AND Pilates! Love it! We have his Freshman-eeks Freshman-meeting tomorrow night where we meet the fall sports coaches and Freshman teachers. Parker has decided he wants to go out for football in the fall, so we will meet the coaches and get all that fun info. Practices and camps start as soon as school is out, and are early! Not sure he knows what he's in for-but he wants to, so we will encourage him!
Oh, and Hailey just dropped the news that Parker has asked a girl to the 8th grade dance! She sent him a text pic of her dress, and she, and her dress are super cute! I wondered why he's been showering without being asked a million times recently.

I had my three month follow up at the cancer center last Monday, and after some abnormal lab work, I got to spend a few days being a complete basket case waiting for more labs and a CT of my chest/abdomen/pelvis. It seems my hormones are really high, which in my case is bad news because my cancer was so hormone receptive, and can indicate a recurrence. We had initially planned to do a uterine ablation, but my oncologist nixed that idea after my lab results came back. It seems the best thing to do is start Lupron injections to stop the hormones. I'm waiting to chat with my NP again tomorrow to set up a date to start these. Oh, my CT was negative! Yeah-woo hoo! Thanks my CT peeps and Dr VT-and Carissa for getting me in and done so quick.

The feeling that something else could be brewing after being a year out was an absolutely deflating feeling. I was literally sick waiting for the results and scan. I didn't tell anyone but my hubby, so I don't want anyone to be offended. No reason to scare anyone, and I know that's all I would have done with no real answers!

Tomorrow I have my pre-op appointment with Dr Buescher at KU for my tissue expander surgery in April! I'm excited and nervous. Then Brian and I are taking a quick trip to Denver this weekend. Nothing major, just a low key, relaxing time with some of my favorite relatives!
We have something going on every weekend in March-trip, VB, track meets, more VB, Stinky's 9th bday and Easter, whew! By the time my surgery gets here, I will be glad for the break!!

Brian is doing well, working and taking care of us. I never do post much about him, doesn't mean he isn't important. We aren't big Valentine's Day celebrators-I don't do candy or flowers, so it meant the world to me to come home to a beautiful hand written note from my hubby.
He is excited for his Annual Fraternity dinner in April, and to see some of his brothers. This will be their 25th year since pledging, so they get a special pin. They have a busy weekend planned, and of course it's the same as my surgery! Oh well, I have friends willing to spend it with me in the hospital so he can enjoy his weekend too. My surgery is the first of the day, so I will be in and back to my room early and then resting, so he should be able to slip away that evening. And there's no way I'm letting him stay with me this time-he was miserable last year. One of my partners in crime is already planning to sneak in a flask and some D'Bronx pizza anyway!

Like I said, March is busy for us-will keep you all updated. And just to prove it's never boring in the Rawley household, I'm going to scrub up the vomit spots from the dog. Yes, the cute little bulldog has a thing for laundry, and has thrown up 2 pairs of my underwear and 2 of the baby's socks tonight. I'm just happy he's able to throw them up, and not getting obstructed. Looks like we will be much more aware of making sure our closet doors are closed from here on out.

Music to my ears!

The Melody Valve. A play on words? Yes.

Ethan's routine cardiology appointment was Wednesday morning with the fantastic Dr Kaine.
EKG-same as previous
Echo-essentially the same as his previous. The donor valve that was put in in 2011 is still showing moderate amount of leakage, however Ethan's right heart is not showing any significant back-up from it. In fact, the donor valve, over time, has narrowed, allowing less leakage to flow backwards through the valve. This is good news.
The pressure across his pulmonary artery is normal. Yep-normal!
The pressure in his right ventricle is normal. Yep- that word again-love it!
No need to start back up on Lasix, but probably will need to before years end.
Stay on same dose of Digoxin.
Next Cardiology appointment?? 6 glorious months!!!! Woo-hoo! That's a long time for us!

And-the most fantastic news of the appointment......
When Ethan needs this pulmonary valve replaced, he is now a candidate for the Melody Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve. What is so awesome about this?
NO OPEN HEART. Yep, read that again. NO OPEN HEART!
This valve is placed by way of femoral catheter-or through a vessel in the groin.
The post-op stay is about 1 day, and usually only need 1 week to resume normal activities!
AND they are doing them at Mercy now!
We looked into this option for the bald kids PV replacement last time, however, since he didn't have any conduit in place, he was not a candidate. Since the donor valve has provided a conduit, it can now be done. This does not mean it is in his immediate future, but no doubt that it will need re-done due to the leakage. Could be 1 year, could be 10. We've heard all that before, and we stopped worrying about time frames a long time ago. When it's time, it's time.

There would be a few hurdles to cross, but Dr Kaine did not seem deterred by them. The main one being the valve is placed by a 23 French catheter, which is way too big for our little guys vessels. This could be overcome by having the CV surgeon acquire access.
Or, if that is not possible, there is another Transcatheter valve that does not yet have FDA approval that only requires utilizing a 14 French catheter-which the bald kid could handle just fine. That is a few years out, but an option should it be FDA approved by the time he needs a replacement.

Lots of medical mumbo jumbo, and sorry if this makes no sense to most of you. But know this-it is all fabulous news for us. We are so fortunate for the medical advances available to prolong our sweet boys life!
Being this is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week, we found it to be rather fitting to finally receive such awesome news about our little guys heart.

For all our heart warrior friends, keep up the good fight, and know we are fighting alongside you! For those families whose heart warriors have lost the battle, know you are never far from our thoughts.

One Year Ago....

12 months
2 surgeries
3 procedures
8 chemotherapy treatments
Countless shots, needle sticks, pills and doctors appointments.

And where am I a year later?
I'm here.
Sitting in my living room.
With my husband and my kids.
I'm alive.
I'm cancer free.
And I'm thankful for all this last year brought me.

Some days were harder than others. Some still are. And some still will be.
But with each new day I know I am a fighter.

I am stronger.

I am a survivor.

Funny hair story; many of you have seen my hair as it's growing back and that it is crazy curly and totally mousy gray. I've been using some of my mad closet hairstylist skills and coloring it. I just have to use the root touch-up stuff cause my hair is only about an inch long. So, I come home from work one morning with the intention of putting the color on, wait 15 min, rinse, go to bed. Well, I popped an Ambien, which I sometimes use to help me sleep, and know that I have about 30 minutes before it kicks in and causes me to act like the equivalent of a staggering drunk. Well....I got a little sidetracked reading mail, messing with the dogs, making Parker breakfast, and getting Ethan dressed, that by the time I got in the bathroom and got all the color on my hair, I was literally a staggering, stuttering, slurring drunk. There was no way I could stay up 15 more minutes to wait to rinse the color out. So I grabbed a towel, wrapped it around my head and went to bed. I awoke 4 hours later hearing my husband in the shower, and couldn't figure out why the blankets were over my head and I couldn't see. Ummm, not blankets, the towel was all discombobulated around my head! I flew out of bed and into the bathroom fully expecting that if I had any hair left on my head, it was now going to be completely fried, and probably yellow. Thank goodness it wasn't, just a way lighter shade of reddish brown than I had expected! Lesson learned-the Ambien bottle should read "this drug may impair the ability to drive, operate machinery, AND color hair properly"

I've been sporting some cute new headbands to help keep the curly under control, and I was thinking I may have gone a bit far the other day until a little 9 year old girl told me she loved my sparkly headband.
40 year old women can still rock a sparkly headband, yes we can.
Ok, 41.
Ok, ok, just shy of 42.

Lance, Manti, Taylor, oh, my!

I wrote this post last week, but just realized I never published it.
So, just my thoughts on some of the latest "celebrity" news.

Lance, oh, Lance. Where do I start? We drank your kool-aid for sure. And based on your snarky, arrogant attitude in your Oprah interview-you still kind of expect Americans to keep guzzling. You were the golden boy; nice looking, amazing athlete that beat cancer to win 7 Tours. I guess money really can buy anything. Almost.
...Everybody was doing it.... Ahem. Did your Momma teach you nothing of following a crowd? Good thing they didn't cycle right off a cliff now, huh?

... I only used EPO, testosterone and blood transfusions... I read something every single day about how sugar, caffeine, processed foods etc can cause cancer. Ya think maybe that crap had anything to do with yours?

Yes, Lance Armstrong did a lot for cancer research. No one can take that away for him. But was it his way of justifying what he knew was wrong? His way to ease his conscience? Like a former boss once said to me- "Kari, how hard you work, and how well you do your job does not justify being tardy every day". ( yes, I used to have a tardy problem, imagine that!) yep, late is late. Wrong is wrong now matter how you slice it, or inject it. (BTW, Dad, I've corrected that problem)

.....I can somewhat justify doing the testosterone because of my cancer.... Sure, I smoke crack, but hey, I had breast cancer.

I guess what bothered me the most was when Oprah asked him about what his most humbling moment was when the news began to break. He began talking about how he felt when Nike called and dumped him. And Trek. And all the other multi-million dollar endorsements that told him to take a hike. Or a ride. Elsewhere. But when the Livestrong foundation asked him to step down was the most humbling. Seriously? Not when the news broke and you had to look in your children's eyes who now know you are a liar? That wasn't the most humbling? I guess we all have different priorities.

Some of you will feel I am being too harsh and judgmental. We wanted to believe he beat all odds and did something NO ONE ELSE could do. Not once, but 7 times. Hmmm, again, a lesson from the parental units, if it sounds and looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Then again, we all believed that maybe two huge media machines such as ESPN and SI might have actually verified Manti Te'o's heartbreaking story of love and loss.
Two words: Fact. Check.
Oh, and a third-Heisman. So sad, even the story didn't boost you to a win. The trophy or the national championship.

Are we teaching our kids to win at all costs? That's what I think Americans really need to think about in regards to these two athletes. No doubt, lots of God-given talent and determination. But where did the drive to succeed override their moral compass? Or do they just think we are stupid? Cause a turd covered in chocolate, is well, still a turd.

I'm sure by now you are wondering how Taylor Swift fits into this equation of doping and lying. Well, I happened across an article about how Taylor might have eyes for Michael J Fox's son, and he responded to the story asking if she was the one who wrote songs about her ex-boyfriends, and once confirmed, stated she needed to stay away from his son. And as I read some of the comments from the general public about Ms Swift, I was kind of appalled. They all but called her a whore, said she was the problem her relationships don't work out.
Hello? Anyone heard of Jennifer Aniston??

Well, Mr Fox would you rather he hook up with the likes of say, Lindsay Lohan? One of the Kardashian disasters? Miley Cyrus? Crazy Britney?
I have yet to see any box-baring, vehicle exiting photos of Taylor Swift.
Any pot smoking, falling down drunk videos of her.
Any sex tapes of her and said suitors released.
Did she force all those guys to date her?
She is only 22 years old. If she ran off and married one of these douche bags, there would be Vegas odds on how long it would last. Say, 72 days?
Isn't this the stuff you are supposed to do when you are 22? I guess in Hollywood though, her life is half over. Don't grow up too fast sweet girl. It's not all its chalked up to be.

So she writes cheesy love songs when there's a break up. I have yet to hear anyone's name be specifically mentioned in any of those songs, and believe me, I've heard them all. A few thousand times. And she's made a fortune doing so. What's she doing wrong again? Please, fill me in. Cause if I could write and sing like her, I have a few choice words for some imbeciles I wouldn't mind making a few million off of. I'm guessing if those guys are feeling singled out and can relate to some lyrics in a song, can we say guilty conscience? I sure know I would have liked to have her songs to relate to when I was 17 years old and thought I was in love and then he drove back from college without telling me so he could take that whore out. Oh, wait, never mind.

And I would sure rather have my little girl admire the tall blonde who writes all her own music, can play multiple musical instruments, doesn't say a single cuss word or refer to drugs in her lyrics than the girl who gets Botox on her reality show.

Besides that, the bald kid loves him some Taylor Swift. And that's good enough for me.

So, if by chance you need a date to the Grammy's Ms Swift, the bald kid looks smashing in a tux. And this Momma would be happy to let him go with you!

No more mangoes!

I have become far more educated in allergy 'hypersensitivity' and 'oral allergy syndrome' and just how closely related the mango fruit is to cashew nuts than I ever cared to last weekend. And I learned pretty quick thanks to the bald kid's anaphylactic reaction to a tiny jar of mango baby food.

I also learned at what point during an allergic reaction to use Ethan's Epi-pen. Well, it's sooner rather than later.

Long story short-I put said culprit in Ethan's feed about 9am.
Around noon Parker is holding Ethan and hollers at me that he just threw up. I check him out, and it's all mucous.
Clean bald kid up, sit him back with Parker.
Brian leaves for work around 12:25 and on his way out mentions to me Ethan looks like crap.
Parker hollers at me again-Ethan threw up again.
I hurry and dress thinking I'm about to take a puking kid to Urgent Care to find out he has the flu, strep or some other germ making its way around this time of year.
While packing a bag for the bald kid, Parker hollers for me to come look at E. Now.
He has clawed his button bloody, is scratching at his neck, which is now swollen and has hives on it the size of golf balls.
Freak out. Now.
Give Benadryl.
Find Epi-pen.
Did I mention his face is purple and lips are gray?
He is still breathing.
Mentally debate for 37 seconds to call 911 and wait for ambulance or pack him up and drive the 1.7 miles to Children's Urgent Care?
Grab and run.
Almost at Mercy and he begins to wheeze and suck air in his car seat.
As I'm yelling to him that it will all be ok, I'm also screaming some choice obscenities at the Sunday driver in front of me talking on her phone, looking at herself in the mirror and driving 12 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Not my finest moment.
Not my calmest either.

Cut to front of line at UC and show Ethan to Triage RN.
She calls back that a kiddo has to come back now.
Tech comes to get me and asks if we can weigh him first.
I suppress my urge to punch her. Probably only because I'm carrying Ethan and don't currently have a free hand with which to do so.

In treatment room with 3 nurses, 2 Resp Therapists, UC Dr and ER Fellow and once hooked up to a monitor and see his sats are 72 and his heart rate is 44, hives are covering his face, neck, chest, groin, head, eyelids, and out comes the order for the Epi-pen.
A plunge into his thigh, scream, cry and hold for 10 seconds, during which time I'm not sure anyone in that room took a breath.
Bring on the oxygen, steroid and Zantac. Oh, and get another Epi-pen ready. Just in case.

Fortunately in the 5 hours we got to be observed, he did not relapse. Which can sometimes happen with an anaphylactic reaction when the Epi wears off.
I also learned that the mango plant is botanically similar to poison ivy, and pollen producing plants. Thus if you have a pollen/ragweed allergy, there is a huge list of fruits and veggies you could also be allergic to. Since we already know he is allergic to bananas, he probably has a significant ragweed allergy, thus the reaction from the mango. Oh, and if you are nut allergic-like E is to peanut, cashew, etc., Nuts have a huge cross-reacting tendency with pollen allergies.

Sorry I didn't get a great pic of the hives and fabulousness of his first ever Epi-pen incident.
I will try to be more calm next time and snap a decent pic.
Wait, there won't be a next time.
No more mangoes for Ethan.
Or bananas, or cherries, or oranges.......
